Repairer Members Not Renewed for Past Five Years

Membership Applications

Membership applications for all membership categories can be found here:

https://www.ssia.info/join/

Wholesalers and suppliers must download applications and submit them for board approval. Repairers can join online. Repairer applications are not typically reviewed by the board.

Membership Dues Billing

SSIA's membership year coincides with the calendar year, January 1 through December 31. Dues invoices are sent the first week of November. Periodic reminders are sent in December and January. Final notices are sent the first week of February. In accordance with SSIA bylaws, final notices inform members that their membership will terminate February 28 if dues are not paid.

Note: Repairer members applying at the annual convention or after are typically given credit for membership through the end of the following calendar year.

Can Delinquent Members be Reinstated?

Members have until the end of the calendar year to pay their dues and be automatically reinstated. After one year:

  • Repairers can pay dues and rejoin at any time.
  • Wholesalers must reapply and the application must be approved by the board of directors
  • Suppliers must reapply, pay the initiation fee and the application must be approved by the board of directors

Note: The board can make exceptions to these policies and, for suppliers, has often allowed former supplier members to be reinstated with payment of back dues rather than the initiation fee.
