Is it possible to get Doc Martens boots resoled with something like a vibram sole? I also need a lift of about 1.5 inch on the left. A few years ago I took a similar styled Skecher shoe to a local shop and was told that it could not be built up. So could these soles be completely removed and resoled with something else?

Yes, I can. I have resoled them with Vibram soles and I am sure that a build up will also be possible.

copy and past my signiature into google or yahoo or Msn and you will get me. My phone also to ask about price....I know I have a picture of one I did, but I have to find it. I even used the yellow thread to stitch them.
